Well this just blew my mind. Amazing. Just Amazing

Hello, a bit late, I know. But it is here at last. My list over the best albums of 2014. To be honest, 2014 was not the greatest year for me. A lot of good albums, but not many that stood out and really shook me. Having said that you might find it a bit ironic that I made a list of 25 albums… But for me that proves my point, a lot of good albums, not so many breathtaking ones. So it was actually a bit difficult this year to choose the list.

Anyways, here is the list

01. Mighty Oaks – Howl
02. Luke Sital-Singh – The Fire Inside
03. Noah Gundersen – Ledges
04. Roo Panes – Little Giant
05. Caleb Caudle – Paint Another Layer on My Heart
06. Kensington – Rivals
07. Ryan Adams – Ryan Adams
08. Mattew and the Atlas – Other Rivers
09. D’Angelo – Black Messiah
10. Tomas Andersson Wij – Mörkrets Hastighet
11. Patrick Park – Love like Swords

Best of 2014 – Albums

So, I figured I should start a list, well actually I started it a while back but anyways. A list of songs I grew up with, that I can remember. These are some of the songs that were popular during my youth, growing up in the 90’s in Sweden. A lot of the stuff is very much different from what I listen to now… so you have been warned. Anyways, here it is:

The list will be updated with more songs along the way.

so, time to summarize the best albums that i have heard in 2013. This year I was actually a bit surprised by who was the winning album. I was sure that Jason Isbell was going to take it with his brilliant “Southeastern”. But. It does not always go the way you expect, does it. Anyways, here is the list. An the winner is:

John Moreland – In the Throes. I have not been able to stop listening to this album since I discovered it. The song “Break My Heart Sweetly” (song of the year in my book!) still gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it.The album is amazing. It has to be in order to beat Jason Isbell, does it not?
